Airworthiness and Seek Eagle Certified!
The KIHOMAC MXU-1072/A Advanced Travel Pod was awarded Airworthiness Certification from the F-35 Joint Program Office. This achievement marks a significant milestone, especially after the rigorous USAF Seek Eagle evaluation and certification process.
The first set of travel pods from our $7 million Lot 1 contract shipped out to units with deliveries continuing monthly into early 2025. A second contract award is anticipated mid-year 2024.
KIHOMAC looks forward to helping the USAF advance their Agile Combat Employment capability with the ATP along with helping the mission needs of other platforms, services, and international partners.
