KIHOMAC Wins MH-60S External Gun Mount System Contract

KIHOMAC wins the MH-60S External Gun Mount System (EGMS) contract for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). EGMS is a $10 million, two year combined Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) and Full Rate Production (FRP) contract.

KIHOMAC fabricated EGMSs will support the GAU-21 crew served side suppression weapon on Active Vibration Control System (AVCS) equipped Block III MH-60S Seahawk helicopters. The MH-60S is the Navy’s medium lift helicopter for Anti-Surface Warfare, combat support, humanitarian disaster relief, Combat Search and Rescue, aero medical evacuation, SPECWAR, and organic Airborne Mine Countermeasures.
